Havoline XLC (Havoline Extended Life Coolant)  is a unique protection against winter freezing and reduction of the risk of boiling over in summer. Mixed with the appropriate amount of water it is recommended for use as a cooling and heat transferring fluid in ALL internal combustion engines. Havoline XLC is an ethylene glycol based fluid that provides improved protection against freezing and boiling. Besides, it possesses advanced characteristics against internal corrosion and the build up of sediments in the cooling system. The extended coolant service life (which is often equal to the whole life of the engine or vehicle) is obtained thankful to the use of virtually non-depleting corrosion inhibitors.
